WINTER IN FLORIDA

I was just in Florida visiting my grandmother, who spends every winter at our family’s condominium in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I am her favorite grandchild, and she loves having me around. I do not remember the last time I saw her so happy as the few days I was down there with her. She loved showing me off to all of her friends down there. She also liked having me down there because I could help her out with some things. I bought her storage closet organizers for her storage space, because it was starting to overflow with junk. I think there was still stuff in there from when my great grandparents lived at the condo. There are also all sorts of beach toys and other stuff from all of the various times when all of the different cousins and grandchildren would visit. She also took me to all the finest dining locations in all of Ft. Lauderdale. She thought it was so funny that I was the youngest person in every restaurant by a solid fifty years. We really did eat at some good places though. One place called the Flaming Pit had unbelievable broasted chicken and a huge salad bar that also had pasta and deserts.
