The future cannot come soon enough. Imagine the possibilities for hair treatments. Right now we have an abundance of treatments that don’t work. Maybe 50-60 years from now we will have an abundance that does work! I can’t wait to see what they are.  I bet no one will be bald when those come out. Just think about it, if a man were to even think he was losing his hair all he would have to do is take a pill or put on some cream and in a few hours he has a full head of hair again. Hair treatment is small in comparison to the medical advances that hopefully will be made by then. In the 60’s and 70’s people thought that we would be driving flying cars with robots at the wheel by now. These robots would also be back at our house moping the floors and doing our laundry. Our office buildings would float in the air and would be made out of glass. The idea of this society was most likely based off the cartoon the Jetsons. Unfortunately that was just a cartoon and the world is nowhere near where we expected. There has been plenty of advances in one industry or another. Take the car for example, look how differently it is now as compared to back in the 20’s. Take a look at the roads we drive on, they are improved tenfold from what they were just 20 years ago. To someone of the 20s, it might be the future they envisioned, but the tall skyscrapers and jets we have would be enough to make them faint.
